Nowhere Productions is a full-service production house based in Athens, Georgia with a satellite office in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1996 by Emmy Award winner Erica McCarthy, in order to pursue her passion for personality-driven documentary filmmaking, with a distinctively Southern flavor.

To this end, Nowhere Productions has assembled a staff of experienced, talented professionals, capable of any task in filmmaking from concept to production to distribution. We are also proud to be able to provide production services in high-definition video, in addition to film and standard format video.

The company was started in Erica’s home on Nowhere Road, north of Athens, but is now located in the heart of the town.

The Beach Lady covers the inspiring story of a southern woman’s journey to save the history and land of her people. This project is currently in production, and is one of Nowhere Production’s most ambitious projects to date.

Damn Good Dog is a recently completed full length "dogumentary" about the life and times of Uga, the mascot of the University of Georgia Bulldogs and Nation's Most Famous College Mascot. Damn Good Dog is currently out on DVD and is the perfect gift for the UGA fan who has everything.
